It was established at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. It served as the seat of the Muszyna governors who - on behalf of the Krakow bishops - ruled over the former "Muszyna State". The facility was rebuilt at the beginning of the 20th century (eastern extension and porch). In 2014-2015, the manor house was restored. The starosts' manor together with the guardhouse and the former inn formed the so-called courtyard complex. Currently, the building is the seat of the Cultural Center, which also houses a stylish cafe.
