Jarmuta is a peak located a short distance from Szczawnica and it is easy to get to it - it is worth visiting this place because of the amazing panorama of the area. It is one of the few Pieniny mountains of volcanic origin. Its age is estimated at 24 million years, it is built of volcanic andesite and has an easily recognizable shape of a cone with two peaks (794 m above sea level and 777 m above sea level). A small Matwijov Pass has formed between them. From the top of the mountain you can see Trzy Korony, Durbaszka, Wysoką, Homole Gorge, as well as Beskid Sądecki with Radziejowa, Gorce and the Lubania Range as well as Beskid Wyspowy or the Tatra Mountains.
