Jaworzyna Krynicka is the highest peak of the Jaworzyna Range in Beskid Sądecki. It rises to 1114 meters above sea level and towers over Krynica Zdrój. From the top there are beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. There are also many activities available in summer and winter. There is a Refuge where you can eat, and a Museum of Mountain Tourism. It's also a great start to hiking or biking tours. The Main Beskid Trail leads from Krynica to Jaworzyna. You can go further along it to Runek and Hala Łabowska or turn to the blue trail and go east to the Bacówka nad Wierchomla.
You can get to the top by gondola lift from Czarny Potok. The railway is 2,211 m long and runs along the slope of Jaworzyna, all the way to the top. Although the journey takes only 7 minutes (the cars move at a speed of 5m / s), you can admire beautiful panoramas and the nature of the Beskids. One car can accommodate 6 people, and there is also space for winter equipment, such as skis. Although the gondola is popular in summer, it is the most crowded place for skiers in winter. Jaworzyna Krynicka has many routes ideal for skiers and snowboarders and is famous for good downhill conditions.
