Krynicki Promenade is the heart and the most iconic place of the health resort. It stretches along Nowotarski Street and Dietla Boulevards. The most important monuments in the city are located next to it - old, beautiful buildings and those more modern places serving tourists and locals. The promenade was built on the initiative of Professor Dietl, a doctor who greatly developed the spa. This place is the center of all events in the spa. Every day you can meet people walking slowly with cups of water here. It is said that while in Krynica, you simply have to be on the promenade. Many famous personalities have always been seen here. Kiepura, Sienkiewicz, Tuwim or Modrzejewska probably walked along the promenade when they visited the health resort.
On the promenade stands the most important building for patients - the modern Main Pump Room, the neo-Renaissance Old Spa House, the New Spa House, also built on the initiative of Dietl Stare Łazienki, the Concert Shell with a bas-relief depicting Kiepura and the Mickiewicz Monument, and right next to the entrance to the promenade - the Monument of Nikifor. On the other side of the Kryniczanka stream, at the Dietla Boulevards, you can admire beautiful Swiss-style villas, for example Witoldówka or Romanówka from the Nikifor Museum.
