Museum of Władysław Orkan is located in the closed wooden church of St. Mary Magdalene in Rabka-Zdrój. The temple itself is an unusual and worth seeing monument. It was erected in 1606 in the shape of Gothic wooden churches, but it was rebuilt many times, so today you can see many different styles there. The church is surrounded by centuries-old trees - linden, beech and ash trees. There used to be a cemetery there, but only three tombstones remain. One of the most valuable elements of the original equipment is the organ from 1778, it can be heard during summer organ concerts.
The museum itself, organized inside the historic church, was established in 1936 and is divided into four rooms. There are exhibitions on pastoralism and crafts, folk costumes, sculpture and pottery. There are about 5,000 here. exhibits from the area inhabited by Zagórzans. One of the most interesting collections is a very rich collection of folk Christmas.
