Palenica One of the undoubted attractions of the city of Szczawnica is the four-person chairlift to Palenica , located in the city center and at the marina ending the Dunajec River Rafting. After a few minutes of traveling by comfortable train, you can reach the top of Palenica (722 m above sea level), from where there are the most beautiful views of the Pieniny Mountains with Trzy Korony and Sokolica, and in good weather we can see the Tatra Mountains. Palenica is a great starting point for hiking and cycling trips, along the colorful - especially in autumn - Pieniny trails. From here, designated mountain trails lead, among others. to the highest peak of the Pieniny Mountains, Wysoka and to Szczawnica Niżnia to Sokolica and Trzy Korony. Palenica is a great place to spend your free time on family picnics. People who like active holidays can also use the bicycle rental and take a nice ride on the specially designated bicycle trail leading to the border with Slovakia. The upper station of the railway has gastronomic facilities with viewpoints, which will complement your relaxation.

No. 1 Palenica - a difficult downhill run, 1000 m long, 250 m high, artificially snowed, groomed, FIS license, black run.
No. 2 Szafranówka I - easy route, length 400 m, level difference 75 m, with artificial snow, blue route.
No. 3 Szafranówka II - medium difficult, length 500 m, altitude difference 100 m, artificially snowed, red route.
No. 4 Palenica II - Family Route - the route is moderately difficult, length 1800 m, height difference 270 m, artificially snowed, illuminated, blue route.
No. 5 Szafranówka - HALFPIPE - slope 200, base width 15 m, wall height 3.5 m, accompanied by a ski lift, FIS parameters, red slope.
Lifts of the Palenica ski station: Krzesełkowy - length 783m, level difference 262m, capacity 2200 persons / h. Three T-bar lifts with a length of 262m to 310m, an average level difference of 75 meters and a capacity of 760 persons / h. One small 100m long T-bar lift.
