The Rolling Stock Open-Air Museum in Chabówka has the largest and most valuable collection of exhibits related to the railway industry and its history in Poland. It was built on the site of the former locomotive shed. Steam locomotives, diesel and steam locomotives, wagons, plows and cranes stand on old tracks and wait for visitors. The most valuable exhibits come from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and were produced, among others, in Germany, Poland and England. In the administration building, there is an exhibition on the history of railways in Poland and in the Chabówka area. Retro holiday trains are a great attraction of the open-air museum. This is an amazing opportunity to travel by a historic train and go back in time, to childhood years or even further, and for children a great attraction and often the first opportunity to ride a train. The route passes through beautiful mountain surroundings. Trains run to Mszana Wielka and Kasina Wielka.
