Construction of a ski lift to Maciejowa

The investment includes the construction of a ski lift to Maciejowa (842 m above sea level) along with tourist infrastructure (e.g. downhill bike trails in the off-season).

Ski lift, viewing platform, downhill track, start of cross-country tracks.

The need to obtain the consent of the owners of plots for the lift and the ski slope.

Supply of tourist services in the commune where the project is planned

Currently, there is a green walking trail: Rabka-Zdrój - Maciejowa - red tourist trail, approx. 1 h 45 min. Rabka-Słone - Maciejowa - along the blacktourist trail, approx. 40 min.

Deficiencies in the services and infrastructure covered by the project in the commune

No infrastructure for winter sports, viewpoints and ski slopes.

The impact of the project implementation on the development of spa tourism in the commune

The implementation of the project will significantly contribute to increasing the tourist potential of the commune.

Areas where the project can be implemented

Maciejowa - at the top of which there is a mountain shelter, is very popular. The route is very attractive. The northern slope encourages the restoration of the ski lift there, and in the off-season, the creation of downhill runs for bicycles.

Mountain shelter on Maciejowa popular all over Poland. In the Ranking of Mountain Huts "above sea level" won 3rd place in Poland.
