The Sensory Gardens, also known as the Gardens of Senses, are one of the most interesting attractions of Muszyna-Zdrój - the city of gardens. They are situated in a beautiful place, on a hill overlooking the Poprad bend. According to the idea that accompanied the founders of the Gardens, they are to serve not only recreation in the bosom of nature, but also perform therapeutic and educational functions. The gardens are divided into eight zones. In the Health Zone, there are devices for outdoor exercise, spread among beautiful flowers and shrubs. In the Scent Zone you can find plants with unique and intense aromas. The sound zone is supposed to affect the hearing of people walking through the noise of trees, birds singing or murmur of water. In the Smell and Touch Zone, plants have been planted that are characterized by a beautiful smell and interesting texture. The Taste Zone is, of course, fruit bushes and trees, the fruit of which can be tasted, as well as beautifully fragrant herbs. The Zone of Sight extends over the entire gardens - you can see vivid colors and unusual compositions everywhere. Its important part is the observation tower, from which there is a view of the Poprad Landscape Park, and with good visibility also of the Tatra Mountains. In the Aphrodite Zone there are apple trees - trees of love planted here by newlyweds. The youngest zone is the zone of Fairy Tales and Legends, there are huts of characters known from Muszyna legends.
The entire complex is very well adapted to various visitors - seniors, families with children and the disabled will find themselves here. The facilities are accessible to people in wheelchairs, and descriptions in Braille have been prepared for the blind.
