The name of the pump room comes from the name of a family of entrepreneurs known in the region, who own the pump room, as well as a mineral water bottling plant and a construction company. The pump room is located in the building of the MUSZYNA CECHINI Mineral Water Bottling Plant. In the pump room, healing waters are available for drinking treatment from the Józef and Stanisław intake.
The Stanisław intake is 0.33% oxalic, bicarbonate-calcium-ferruginous (HCO 3 -Ca, Fe) and comes from a 150 m deep borehole, established in 2000. It is located next to the Cechini Pump Room.
The Józef intake is 0.19% oxalic, bicarbonate-calcium-magnesium (HCO 3 -Ca-Mg) and comes from a 142 m deep well, which was established in 2001. Water from the Józef intake is also available seasonally in the pump room-gazebo, 300 m below the Cechini pump room, on the bank of the Szczawnik stream, at ul. Zazamcze (GPS: 49 ° 21 '30.11' 'N; 20 ° 53' 19.62 '' E).
Due to the low content of sodium, and high content of magnesium and calcium, water from the Stanisław and Józef intakes is recommended for supplementing the deficiencies of the above-mentioned elements and for the prevention of hypertension. Hydrocarbonate-calcium-magnesium waters are recommended in chronic diseases and infections of the urinary tract, they support diarrhea and inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract and in treatment with antibiotics.
