Natural mineral water "Milusia" is available for consumption 150 m from the market square in Muszyna, at Piłsudskiego 23, in the pump room building. The Miluś intake was established in 1935 in the central part of the city, on the initiative of Eng. Józef Krówczyński, who then built modern bathrooms for mineral baths in the neighborhood (now the building of the prosecutor's office, which also houses the Milusia pump room). At that time, the intake provided medicinal raw materials for bathing and drinking cures. The borehole is named after Mila Lachowa, a native of Yugoslavia, the wife of the then starost of Nowy Sącz, Dr. Maciej Lach. Water is supplied to the pump room from a hole 171 m deep, created in 1938 and is 0.60% oxalic, bicarbonate-magnesium-sodium-calcium (HCO 3 -Mg-Na-Ca). Reserves of this approach are: 0.9 m 3 / h.
"Milusia" is a healing water especially recommended for the following diseases: rheumatological diseases, diseases of the lower respiratory tract, diseases of the digestive system, obesity, osteoporosis, diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract.
