The route refers to the historic trade route from Hungary to Wieliczka and Krakow (with some modifications resulting from the specificity of bicycle tourism and the route of the currently existing roads). The first section of the trail runs from Leluchów - on the Polish-Slovak border (Visegrad Bridge), through towns and communes with exceptional tourist values and well-developed tourist infrastructure, i.e. through: Muszyna, Piwniczna-Zdrój, Rytro, Stary Sącz to Nowy Sącz.
